The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) has sent cell broadcast alerts to residents in the North and Northeast, warning of flash floods, overflowing rivers and landslides as tropical depression Nongfa continues to bring heavy rain.

- POST REPORTERS

The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) says Nongfa was expected to move across the North yesterday with waves exceeding three metres possible in the upper Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand during storms. Small boats are advised to remain ashore.
