New theatre show explores trauma and trans identity

Miss Theatre presents With Pessimistic And Hateful, an experimental work that explores personal traumas, at the Studio, 4th floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Pathumwan intersection, from Aug 22-24 and Aug 29-31 at 7pm.

This is the latest performance by Miss Oat, or Pathipon, a queer theatre artist who will take audiences into a deeply personal journey told through video performances by four actors portraying family members and others in Miss Oat’s life, echoing memories shaped by bias and hate.

Both intimate and political, the performance weaves together text-based theatre, documentary and music to interrogate the construction of trans identity in society.
