BLS touts tech funds with AI growth set to continue

Bualuang Securities (BLS) recommends investors raise their exposure in technology funds focusing on the artificial intelligence (AI) trend, as global equities are likely to extend gains in 2026 despite some short-term corrections.

Chaiyaporn Nompitakcharoen, managing director of sales and trading business at BLS, said the firm maintains a constructive outlook on global stocks in 2026, even after profit-taking in technology shares between May and October 2025.

He noted valuation concerns and short-term macro pressures that weighed on sentiment, but emphasised that the recent decline represents a “healthy correction” rather than a trend reversal.

“Fundamentals remain supportive?” said Mr Chaiyaporn, citing prospects for central banks’ interest rate cuts, the low risk of a US recession, and continued earnings growth among listed companies.
