Abandoned bag prompts alert at airport

An explosive precursor was discovered in a Swedish man’s bag at Udon Thani Airport, leading to his arrest after his flight landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Police at Udon Thani’s Muang police station received a report from a hiwwayan Kongsawasdi, director of Udon Thani Airport, that around 4pm on Thursday, Pol Col Pattanawong Chanphon, superintendent of Udon Thani’s Muang station, said a 58-year-old Swedish male passenger travelled from Udon Thani to Suvarnabhumi Airport on an AIR Asia flight.
