Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati was the eldest child of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali Krom Muen Suddhanarinatha.
She is also the first grandchild of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha was born on Dec 7, 1978 at Ambara Villa in Dusit Palace in Bangkok.
On Jan 11, 1979, HM King Bhumibol presided over a royal ceremony marking the princess reaching the age of one month at Ambara Villa. The ceremony is traditionally performed by Thai kings for their children and grandchildren.
In the ceremony, King Rama IX, as he was also known, named his granddaughter HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha, as he bestowed upon the baby princess a gold bar inscribed with her name.
During the ceremony, the previous king cut a lock of the princess's hair and poured a few drops of lustral water from a conch shell on her head as a blessing.
On the second day of coronation ceremonies on May 6, 2019, HM the King bestowed new titles on members of the royal family.
HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha was granted the title of HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati.
In a ceremony marking HM the King's 67th birthday on July 28, 2019, His Majesty issued a royal command elevating the royal title of the princess to HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha attended Rajini School in Bangkok for her elementary and junior high school education.
