Promising footie ace Ruby goes for glory in Miss Scotland contest

A women's football star will swap the pitch for the catwalk as she bids to land the Miss Scotland title.
Ayr United’s Ruby McRae had made the final 10 of the glittering pageant, which crowns a winner this weekend.
Ruby, of Tarbolton, is hoping her athletic background will give her the jump on her competition.
The 19-year-old, who plays in United’s women’s setup, said: “You never really see a women’s footballer in a beauty pageant so I thought why not go for it?
