100 years celebrated with special events
Tasty finish The celebration event wrapped up with a cake-cutting ceremony
A historical chapter in Airdrie Library's history was marked last month as it celebrated its 100th anniversary with a programme of events.
To honour the occasion, Jim Logue, leader of North Lanarkshire Council, joined local children from the Time Travellers initiative to bury a capsule filled with memories and creative work.
The children shared a short film showcasing their project, made by local filmmaker Colin Mathieson.
