GSRTC proposes to extend buses to GIFT City

Plan includes e-buses for intra-campus travel; 5,000 employees to benefit

Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) is set to get better transport links. The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has put forward a final plan to extend bus services to the business district.

GIFT City covers 886 acres, including a 261-acre Special Economic Zone, and employs at least 5,000 people. Yet it still lacks proper transport connections, which forces workers to depend on private vehicles.
