This book won't teach you parenting but it will make you a better parent — that's not us stating something, but the name of a book written by Riri G Trivedi (psychotherapist and parenting trainer) and Anagha Nagpal (engineer-turned-educator). Here's an insight through a conversation with the authors.

What inspired this book?

RT: We consistently found most problems — mental and physical health, relationship and parenting issues — are traced to early childhood experiences. Much of childhood maltreatment or abuse happens at the hands of parents or educators whose intentions may be good, but the means perhaps wrong. Emotional imbalance further passes on abusive, violent behavior towards children. To prevent trauma and wrong parenting, it is imperative to work with parents.
