Over 400 members attend Ellisbridge Gymkhana Club's annual general meeting on Saturday amid ongoing fight over land transfer; unanimously decided not to surrender Law Garden land to government
The annual general meeting of the Ellisbridge Gymkhana club, held on Saturday evening, handed a big victory to all those who had objected to the plan to relocate the iconic gymkhana.
At the end of a long and stormy AGM, more than 400 members-the highest attendance in recent times-unanimously decided that the Law Garden land would not be surrendered to the government under any circumstance.
