THREE schools in Hyndburn have been awarded government funding to carry out important building and repair work.

Huncoat Primary School, Oswaldtwistle West End Primary School and Rhyddings in Oswaldtwistle are set to benefit from funding as part of the Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) - a scheme which helps schools fix urgent issues such as leaking roofs, faulty boilers or structural repairs to keep buildings safe and in good working order.
