Goalkeeper Ollie on loan from Saints

GOALKEEPER Ollie Wright has joined Stanley from Southampton on a season-long loan.

Wright, who was born in Bath and has risen through the ranks at St Mary's, became a regular for Saints' Under-21s, before loan spells with his hometown club and Worthing, in the summer of 2023 and February 2024, respectively.
The 22-year-old helped The Rebels reach the National League South Play-Off Final, as moves to the fifth tier’s Yeovil Town and Solihull Moors followed in 2024/25, where the 6’ 5” loanee played 39 times, and kept nine clean sheets.
Manager John Doolan said: “We needed a goalkeeper to push Michael (Kelly) and young James (Rogerson).
