PETER Adeniyi hailed his Carshalton Athletic side’s charcater after Aaron Lamont’s late equaliser ended Hornchurch’s 100% record.
Liam Nash’s strike in first-half injury time looked to have earned the Urchins a third straight victory, only for sub-Lamont to pop up four minutes from time to earn the Robins a hard-fought point.
“This is never an easy place to come to, and this season they are stronger than any time in recent years,” Adeniyi beamed.
“Considering the injury to our keeper before kick-off, I would definitely have taken a point before the game started.”
