TITLE-CHASING Bracknell Town travelled to play-off hopefuls Swindon Supermarine on Saturday afternoon at the Webbswood Stadium and came away with a slender but vital 2-1 victory.
The result has big consequences at the top end of the table. Bracknell are five points off Weston-superMare at the top but with a game in hand. Meanwhile, The Marine are six points off Poole Town in fifth place and have face an uphill struggle to make the play-offs.
The Marine nearly got the scoring under way when Mat Liddiard headed home from a corner on 17 minutes but it was ruled out for a push on Bracknell keeper Mike Eacott - much to the bemusement of the home support.
