VIKRANT SHARMA, 40

Founding Partner and Lead Architect, Hivemind Design

imageWhen did you start the firm and why?

We started around October 2012. I had just started working independently and Gaurav was already a successful design entrepreneur running a graphic design firm. He reached out to me to design his house in Gurgaon. We ended up working together on that house and we enjoyed that process so much that it became the basis of our firm, resulting in the inception of Hive. Mandeep joined us along the way, about three to four years into the business, but the foundation of the firm is rooted in our love for designing residential spaces.

Your area of specialisation?

Designing bespoke residences that resonate with the inhabitants; we create spaces where you feel like you belong. Architecture, interior design and styling are what we specialise in, as well as commercial projects.

imageHow many projects have you done?

We've worked on around 150 projects so far.

Your favourite projects is...

Residence VSD, since it was our first project almost 12 years back and RMD House in New Delhi that resonates with the kind of bespoke residences we love working on.

imageWhat are you working on?

We are working on a few farmhouse projects, some architecture projects are also in the pipeline along with high-end apartments where we are doing the interior design and styling.
