Brightening your decor, one light at a time, we ask four glow getters what to pick for the upcoming festivities
Art of the Matter
Bending the norms, experimenting with form, function and material make Delhi-based, light designer Nikhil Paul, founder of Paul Matter, stand out. “My approach to lighting is less about trends and more about process. The form shapes how light moves in space, the material defines its character, and together they create an expression that is meaningful and is felt as much as it is seen,” shares Paul.
For the festive season, he has chosen Plus chandeliers, part of his latest collection. These pieces are handcrafted in brass, material chosen for its timeless character and ability to age beautifully. “The warm patina of brass brings depth and richness, while the interiors are finished to enhance the warm glow of light,” he says.
As for the inspiration, it’s all about sculptural geometry—circles and cylinders arranged in rhythmic repetition. And, if you stand under it and look like a star. Festive gatherings call for light that feels warm and celebratory and these chandeliers do exactly that,” adds Paul.PRICE ₹4 lakh onwards
