What's in a name? Pieces of A Dream's newest project “We Got This” is more than just a new album. It's a pledge - one member to the others.

PIECES OF A DREAM WE GOT THIS

A motto to live by. A way of life. It's showing love in action. It is the ability to trust and believe that everything is going to be alright, that obstacles will be overcome, that difficulties shall be made easy. “There is not a problem that is too hard for us to handle because we got The Lord on our side. We Got This.”

imageComing up on almost 50 years together, Pieces of A Dream band mates, Curtis Harmon and James Lloyd, have shown and proven that “Pieces”, together, GOT THIS, whatever THIS may be. With 16 years in, Tony Watson, Jr. stepped up to the plate, in a show of brotherhood, and pushed through to the release of the project “We Got This”, showing that he too is deserving of celebrating the group’s continued relevance with fans, music journalists, radio DJs, and record companies. He is down for the group and not just tagging along for the ride.

imageIt is not coincidence that Pieces of a Dream has maintained its fan base for almost 50 years. It’s not just the production and release of good music. Pieces does not have the “star-quality attitude” which may turn people away, but rather enjoy meeting their fan base. They go into the lobby of venues after the shows to meet fans, sign autographs and memorabilia. “Fans may see us one way, but we see ourselves as regular people” says Harmon. “Once I overheard a fan saying “I think it’s cool that they come out and mingle with us.” “It resonates with you that you’re doing it right.”
