My Hero

My mum was active as a pianist when I was a child living in Sarajevo, and I'd spend many hours listening to her practise. She would play a lot of Ravel, Debussy préludes and Prokofiev sonatas, and because these early-20th-century composers are what I was exposed to, they are in my blood.
