KAPIL DEV WAS born on January 26, 1994, in the largest village of Niramand district, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. His family includes parents, grandparents, and a younger brother.

In college, Kapil not only excelled in his studies but also discovered a passion for writing. He actively participated in open mic events, showcasing his talent for poetry and songwriting.
