There are few stories as evocative or iconic as Treasure Island. It draws us, as readers, into a tale woven with the promise of fortune and the thrill of the unknown. Now, Van Cleef & Arpels, the storied jewellery maison synonymous with joyful craftsmanship, brings this legend to life once more with a second drop of creations part of the Treasure Island high jewellery collection, unveiled on the sun-drenched shores of Phuket, Thailand. Following its dazzling debut in Miami, where the journey first began, the collection now finds itself in a setting befitting its spirit—an island rich in beauty, mystery, and seafaring lore.

Like a map leading to untold riches, X marks the spot in Trisara Resort, where we spend the better part of three days on our own journey of discovery. And we start off by quite literally going back to school.

Known for its dedication to preserving and sharing the artistry of jewellery-making, experts from Hong Kong's L’Ecole Asia Pacific, School of Jewelry Arts are on site to invite us to delve deeper into the maison’s savoir-faire. Through their workshops, we uncover the secrets of gemology, the evolution of high jewellery, and the rich narratives woven into every Van Cleef & Arpels Treasure Island creation. This is a collection that transforms literary legend into extraordinary jewels, but L’Ecole transforms this knowledge into appreciation—taking the launch beyond an unveiling to a voyage of learning.
