Goa College of Home Science Hosts a Cultural Milestone

In a momentous step toward fostering intercollegiate collaboration and student talent, Goa College of Home Science hosted its first-ever intercollegiate cultural fest, Purnatva, on 11th March 2025. Held within the college premises, this landmark event brought together a vibrant confluence of creativity, competition, and camaraderie, setting a new benchmark for student-led initiatives in the state.

A Gathering of Campuses

The inaugural edition of Purnatva witnessed enthusiastic participation from nine prestigious institutions across Goa, including: Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Don Bosco College, Panjim, Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Margao, Goa University, VVM's Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law, Government College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Khandola, Government College of Engineering, Farmagudi, Shree Mallikarjun and Shri. Chetan Manju Desai College, Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Quepem, Each institution added a unique flavour to the event, contributing to the diverse and competitive spirit of the day.

A Grand Inauguration

The event was inaugurated in the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Sobita Kirtani, Assistant Professor and head of the Psychology Department at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science. Her insightful words on college life and the psychological influences shaping student journeys resonated deeply with both participants and the audience.
