THE UNSUNG VITAMIN MANY OVERLOOKED

HAVING A SIMPLE SKINCARE ROUTINE will give you good skin, but couple that with a serum or two in between to achieve great skin. Just like for our body, we can take care of our skin by giving it ample supplements to both protect and nourish it. One way is by using topical vitamins. On top of your head, you might be able to name a plethora of familiarsounding skincare vitamins: vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E, and the list goes on. However, we are introducing an underrated vitamin that might not yet be under your radar: vitamin B12.

Like any of its vitamin counterparts, vitamin B12 — also known as cyanocobalamin — in skincare offers a range of benefits, including antioxidant protection, enhanced moisture retention, anti-inflammatory properties and skinbrightening effects, just to name a few. Its multifaceted nature makes it an invaluable ingredient for achieving a youthful, radiant complexion while addressing various skin concerns such as ageing, dryness, sensitivity and uneven skintone.
