Look sharp and shoot confidently with precision glasses from Edwards Eyewear

Quality that's clear to see

IT'S THE morning of a shoot. Breeks are on, guns are in slips, cartridge bags are stocked and gumboots are in the car ready to go. But what about eyewear?

Glasses must perform three key functions: they should protect the eyes from impact and UV, shield the eyes from glare, and enhance the clarity and contrast of a bird against the background.

Regular glasses are often a suboptimal choice, as they are generally not meaningfully impact resistant (the lenses are often made from CR-39, a brilliantly clear but brittle plastic); they may not have good UV protection (vital to guard against cataract and macular degeneration); the optical centres may not be in the best place; and, crucially, the shape of the frame may limit the wearer's field of vision or cause them to sit too low to look through. Sharp vision and good-quality glasses can be a real game changer for shooting success, so it makes sense to ensure they protect you too.
