Located at 1,800m above sea level on the southern slope of the South Tyrolean Plose massif, FORESTIS offers 62 suites with panoramic views of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. Developed from the remains of a historic tuberculosis sanatorium, the reconstruction was a carbon-neutral project using locally sourced materials. The property is powered by renewable energy, including a pellet heating system, and water is sourced from an artesian spring. For each tree felled for fences, two new saplings are planted.

FORESTIS's commitment to sustainability continues in its dining. Executive Chef Roland Lamprecht sources vegetables, fruits, and herbs from local farmers who employ the zero-waste principle, ensuring the best quality produce. Lamprecht personally visits farmers and markets to find the finest ingredients, using reusable food boxes for collection. This zero-waste policy extends to packaging and water pollution as well.
