With more options to ski and snowboard right here in Singapore (shout-out to Trifecta, the hip sports and lifestyle complex that opened on Orchard Road recently), the skiwear collections from the luxury houses have never felt more relevant.

Italian house Fendi’s collection is a masterful blend of both aesthetics and function. Many of the outerwear pieces, for example, are reversible and as for the inner layers, the house has crafted a unique fabric made out of carbon threads that’s said to be thermoregulating (read: it maintains your body temperature) and waterproof, with antibacterial and anti‑odour properties. There’s also a sustainable element: take how the ski jackets are made from high‑quality post‑consumer recycled polyester yarn that upcycles marine waste and plastic from land sources. Furry wool accessories sporting a subtle Fendi Mirror motif help round out the ensemble.
