Doctor hopping (a tenth opinion never hurt), self-intervention (read: Self-medication), a WhatsApp support group titled 'Been There, Done That'... as a former beauty editor, there's not much I haven't tried when it comes to my skin, hair, body and beyond.

More recently in my beauty hack exploration journey, I landed on Reddit. Safe to say, it did not disappoint. Toothpaste—or spit—on your zit was perhaps the most benign advice on offering, and while I haven't gotten the chance to test-drive each and every one, I certainly plan to.

I'll try, regret, and maybe try again. But it's the “why didn’t I think of that?” epiphany I’m living for. After spending the wee hours on the platform, here’s a beauty hack cheat sheet I’ve saved for later. No more gatekeeping. (Disclaimer: At your own risk!).
