He's the youngest of the Waleses but Prince Louis is bursting with a personality that demands attention

ROYAL RASCAL

HE MAY be a prince and fourth in line to the British throne – but every time the public sees this little guy one word comes to mind: scene-stealer.

Prince Louis Arthur Charles has been capturing hearts and dominating headlines since he made his debut on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as a babe in his mother's arms in 2019.

He pulled faces back then and he's still doing it now, much to the delight of royal fans the world over.

At the recent Trooping the Colour – a day of military pomp and ceremony that marks the monarch's official birthday – all eyes were on the seven-year-old once again.

And irrepressible Louis was at it from the moment he appeared in a carriage with his mom and siblings, George and Charlotte. As he grinned, waved and laughed he had the crowds outside the palace cheering him on.

“The cheeky Prince Louis once again won the hearts of the nation,” news headlines said.

At one point William and Kate's youngest seemed to take a break, burying his face in his hands, but a few minutes later he was back to his cheeky self, pulling faces that even had his mom and siblings giggling.

Once he got onto the palace balcony to watch the military fly-by, it was all systems go — until his elders stepped in. George put a hand on his arm to calm him down, Charlotte appeared to give her little brother a few words and Kate gave her youngest a stern look and told him to stand for the national anthem.

“He's a cheeky monkey - a typical third child,” an insider close to the royal family tells People. Louis' antics have worked in the Waleses' favour, making them appear even more down to earth.
