The only clue that Mark had a brother was a tattoo of a baby on his mum's arm...

As a child, Mark Thorpe was always intrigued by a photo of a baby that his mum Diane kept by her bed. She also had the same photo tattooed on her arm, yet Mark knew it wasn't a picture of him.

'I would ask my mum, "Who's that?", but she was very vague, very elusive,' says Mark, 44, from East Norfolk. 'Then eventually she said, "That's your brother, he got taken away."
