A car plunges into a lake, leaving at least one person in danger. Three months ago, we said the same thing about Emmerdale, but now it's happening in EastEnders. Show bosses aren't giving too much away but we're pretty sure that, on this occasion, no one's crawling over ice in stiletto heels.

The catalyst for the saga is Zack's plot to do a runner with secret son Barney, who he wants to rescue from killer Nicola's clutches.

'He feels a deep need to keep his child safe,' reveals actor James Farrar, who plays him. 'He also truly believes that he would be a better dad than Teddy.'
