Hamza Yassin has enjoyed traversing diverse landscapes on a yearlong adventure across the seasons to find and film elusive creatures for his latest BBC1 nature showcase.

‘Wonderful wildlife is all around us in the UK – you just need to know where to look!’ smiles the cameraman and presenter, 35, when TV Times catches up with him at a special launch event in London for four-episode series Hamza’s Hidden Wild Isles.

‘We have managed to get amazing footage of so many creatures, including some that have never been captured on camera before.’
