Ed Gamble hosts a show in which celebrities make a case for contentious opinions

Having earned his stripes as a guest on TV panel shows including Mock the Week and Taskmaster, Ed Gamble turns host for new series Unacceptable, in which top comedians must defend the indefensible.

In the opening episode, Romesh Ranganathan, Katherine Ryan, Roisin Conaty and Sophie Willan join the show’s resident team captains Richard Ayoade and Joanne McNally to state the case for their wild, unwise or inappropriate opinions.

Relying on razor-sharp wit and persuasive punchlines, they must try to win over the studio audience, who'll be voting via the show's live ‘swingometer’. The team with the biggest swing in support is the winner.
