Clive Myrie crosses the continent to explore its fascinating culture

Having already explored the Caribbean and Italy for his previous travelogues, this time Clive Myrie’s destination is Africa, where he was based in Johannesburg as a BBC correspondent more than 20 years ago.

‘I’ve always wanted to come back and explore Africa more deeply and show a side that we rarely see on TV,’ says the BBC newsreader and Mastermind host.

The 10-episode series sees him delve into the culture of South Africa, Ghana, Morocco and Nigeria and immerse himself in an array of activities involving food, fashion, football, art and music.
