CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL "You don't have to say much. If you're giving him a note or an adjustment, he understands you very fast," says director James Mangold of Chalamet. "He's kind of a wonder." Inset: the real Dylan in 1961.
Director James Mangold had high hopes that Timothée Chalamet could portray music legend Bob Dylan in his film A Complete Unknown. But it wasn't until they first shot the actor singing live while playing guitar that Mangold knew Chalamet had pulled it off. “He was phenomenal,” recalls Mangold, who also directed the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. “And I remember being elated and this kind of weight lifting from my chest, knowing my instincts were right, and this young man was going to be awesome.”

Gayle King Recalls Catching Her Ex-Husband Cheating With Her Friend
Gayle King vividly remembers the moment she discovered her ex-husband William Bumpus’s infidelity. In a May 27 episode of Call Her Daddy, the TV journalist, 71, recounted returning home after a canceled flight to find Bumpus, 67, with one of her friends. “I even said, ‘I thought we were friends.’ I sounded so pitiful,” King said. After the interview, Bumpus, an attorney, publicly expressed his “deepest apologies” for “the pain I caused decades ago” to King and their kids, Kirby, 40, and William Jr., 39.
