Hailey Bieber might be able to juggle work and life, but can everyone?

The idea of a work-life balance has been around for centuries, yet if you’re consistently coming home late or working on the weekends, you’ll know the juggle is a struggle – to put it lightly.

That is unless you’re Hailey Bieber, who, in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily in October, shared how she was balancing her business and her newborn Jack Blues. Spoiler: she’s doing it quite well, it seems.

“I’m only doing what feels comfortable for me physically, mentally and emotionally,” she said. Given that the Rhode founder and first-time mum has an impressive net worth of $20 million, we’re going to take a stab and say she can take a day or two off – good for her and also jealous tbh.

However, more money doesn’t always equate to doing it all – last year, Rihanna told InStyle that juggling motherhood and work was “almost impossible”.

And RiRi isn’t alone – per Lululemon’s 2024 Global Wellbeing report, Australians are more focused on being “well” than ever, yet one in two are still experiencing burnout. So is work-life balance just one big fantasy and is there some other way we can prioritise our wellbeing instead?
