Much-loved stars of TV and radio came together to celebrate the worthy winners of the annual TRIC Awards in London

It was a big day for Kate Garraway at last Tuesday’s star-studded TRIC Awards.

As The Celebrity Traitors picked up the award for Best Game Show, the star revealed she was “thrilled” with the win - and revealed that she is currently trying to convince her Good Morning Britain co-host, Susanna Reid, to take part in the hit BBC show.

The presenter, 59, who hit the red carpet solo, also touched on her blossoming romance with broadcast journalist Liam Halligan.

She told OK!, “I’ve been so lucky that people care so much,” before joking, “the main thing for me to thrive at the moment, though, is just getting more sleep!”
