IN A breakthrough discovery, researchers have found a potential intervention that could lead to a new therapy for people with post-traumatic stress disorder!

The condition causes sufferers to react negatively to harmless triggers
Stress and trauma can affect the brain so badly, it can make even ordinary memories seem frightening, say Canadian researchers.
“A little bit of stress is good, it’s what gets you up in the morning when your alarm goes off. But too much stress can be debilitating,” explains researcher Dr. Sheena Josselyn of Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children.
“People with PTSD show fearful responses to safe situations or environments. We have found a way to limit this response and potentially reduce the harmful effects of PTSD,” Josselyn says.
