King Charles honours the late Queen and his grandfather George VI at a jubilant VE Day party

It was a night filled with gratitude, reflection and, most certainly, jubilation as a final VE Day celebration brought more than 10,000 people, including the King and Queen and Prince and Princess of Wales, to an epic open-air concert at Horse Guards Parade in London.

Making her way to the royal box accompanied by an attentive Prince William, Kate was pretty as a princess in a tweed jacket and chiffon skirt from Self-Portrait that she'd worn previously. Queen Camilla also turned to a favourite piece: her traditional daglah coat, originally given to husband King Charles on a visit to Saudi Arabia and now perfectly tailored for his spouse.
