'LIFE AS YOU KNOW IT CAN CHANGE IN AN INSTANT' THE PRINCESS OF WALES PICTURED IN BEAUTIFUL SCENES WITH WILLIAM AND THE KIDS, KATE OPENS UP ABOUT HER CANCER JOURNEY

Kate, 42, shared her innermost feelings and hopes for the future while offering an unprecedented glimpse into life with husband Prince William, 42, and their spirited children – Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 – in sweet scenes captured on-camera.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” admitted the mom of three, explaining how life can change in an instant. With her treatments behind her, she said her effort is now focused on being cancer-free.

image“My path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” she said. Demonstrating her practicality and optimism, Kate added, “Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.”

SUMMER LOVE

The three-minute film, shot by British videographer Will Warr at the family’s Norfolk home in the summer and released on Sept. 9 – the day after the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s death – follows the close-knit clan as they frolic in a forest and enjoy a picnic. They’re also pictured playing cards with grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton, who have been an integral part of Kate’s caregiving team.

imageTouchingly, too, it gives a peek at William and Kate’s romantic side, with the couple of 22 years (who wed in 2011) tenderly holding hands, cuddling on a blanket and sharing sweet kisses.

“The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you,” confessed Kate. “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before and, with that, a new perspective on everything.”
