It was a super-stylish match of the day when Taylor Ward married footballer Riyad Mahrez in the heart of London.

Looking stunning in a fitted gown with intricate beading and a thigh-high split by award-winning bridal designer Lihi Hod at Browns Bride, Taylor later described the day on Instagram as marrying “your best friend, part 1”, as next year will see the couple exchange vows in a spectacular destination wedding overseas.

On 4 September, it was the opulent Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park that provided the magnificent setting for their UK nuptials, as the former Manchester City striker and his model and jewellery designer bride exchanged vows. The ceremony and wedding breakfast were followed by a rooftop party that extended into the evening at The Londoner in Leicester Square.
