It will be a family affair for Andrea Bocelli when he takes to the stage at the BST Hyde Park festival this Friday.

Joining him will be his son Matteo, 26, a rising singing star in his own right, and his talented 12-year old daughter Virginia.

Among the stellar names performing with them will be mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins, film-score composer Hans Zimmer and singer-songwriter Seal, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert also marks 30 years of Andrea’s career as one of the world’s most famous tenors, and his children’s contribution will “greatly enhance the experience”, he tells hello! in our exclusive interview.

“Even when I am on stage, I am foremost a father, and I feel a deep sense of responsibility and dedication to their wellbeing,” he says.

“I am grateful that Virginia, despite her youth, consistently demonstrates commitment, responsibility and a balanced approach to life. And Matteo has developed into a talented artist with his own distinctive style and personality.
