New study shows pricey ingredients don't add much

Effective treatments for fine lines, acne, dark spots and more are available in stores
EXPENSIVE, trendy ingredients are not necessary to have great skin, according to a Northwestern University survey of dermatologists.
The ingredient that got the biggest thumbs-up was retinoids, which speed cell turnover and stimulate collagen production for radiant-looking skin.
Over 96 percent of derms surveyed recommended it for its antiaging benefits and for treating fine lines, acne, dark spots and oily skin.
