NEWBIE AYUSH MEHRA NARRATES HIS JOURNEY TO SAMRIDDHI PATWA

Ayush Mehra is most prominently recognised for his charming presence in the Filter Copy video sketches. His journey in the entertainment industry began with a series of roles in various advertisements, and he also gained valuable experience as an assistant director on several film projects, notably the 2019 military action blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike. What sets Ayush apart is that despite his lack of a traditional acting background, he made his debut as an actor in the 2022 sports film Kacchey Limbu. He played the role of a lively and charming lad named Kabir alongside Radhika Madan and Rajat Barmecha. Kacchey Limbu is a heartwarming story about two siblings who compete against each other for a gully cricket tournament. Ayush says that his character Kabir is someone who has a lot of dreams, is honest and innocent, is also an ace cricket player, and also has a crush on Radhika’s character. “I was given a cricketer, like AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, in terms of who I have to look up to. My shots had to look like my character knew what he was doing. Because he is the best player on Team Kacchey Limbu. So, I had to physically work a lot on that.”
