As industries move towards more sustainable and regulation-ready manufacturing practices, the demand for PFAS-tested engineering components continues to grow. Addressing this need, igus has introduced a new dryspin® universal lead screw nut with flange that enables quick 1:1 replacement without requiring design modifications. Developed from lubrication-free iglidur high-performance plastic, the component is PTFE-free and has been tested for the 96 most critical PFAS compounds.

The new solution is aimed at helping design engineers simplify the transition away from PFAS-containing components while ensuring system compatibility and operational efficiency.
