PM Narendra Modi and Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez have inaugurated the Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) facility for manufacturing C-295 aircraft in Vadodara, Gujarat.

 This facility represents a pivotal advancement for India, marking the nation's first private-sector Final Assembly Line (FAL) for military aircraft. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh heralded the event as a milestone for the aerospace sector, underscoring that the C-295 project signifies a significant accomplishment for Indian private industry, being the first military aircraft fully manufactured by a private entity in India.
