Geberit secures key EcoVadis accolade

GEBERIT Group, a European market leader in the field of sanitary products, has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for 2025, its second such achievement for its sustainability performance.

This prestigious award places Geberit in the top five per cent of more than 150,000 companies assessed globally by EcoVadis across all industries, underscoring its commitment to comprehensive and continuous improvement in sustainable business practices.

This prestigious award serves as a valuable indicator for customers and suppliers that Geberit has a comprehensive, systematic, and long-term sustainability management system in place, says a spokesman for the Geberit Group.

Since its founding in 2007, EcoVadis has become one of the world's largest providers of sustainability ratings for companies, with its global network now comprising over 150,000 assessed businesses. It conducts risk and performance assessments across 250 industries and more than 185 countries using 21 criteria divided into four thematic areas: Environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
