Nampo Cape 2025: going from strength to strength
Farmer's Weekly
|August 29 - September 05, 2025
Nampo Cape 2025 promises something for everyone, with livestock shows, equipment on display and an international tentpegging contest.
Since its inception six years ago, Grain SA's Nampo Cape, held in Bredasdorp, has gone from strength to strength, characterised by innovation and staying on the forefront of the latest developments in agriculture, says Richard Krige, Grain SA chairperson. He says the focus of Nampo Cape 2025, as in the past, is on the introduction of functional technology and solutions to the South African agriculture sector. “Emphasis will largely be on the winter rainfall production areas, including small grains, as well as the grape, wine and fruit production industries.
MERINO RETURN
“We are especially appreciative of the fact that after an absence of three years, the annual Merino Classic Championships will be returning in 2025,” says Krige.
