Mitsubishi's limited edition double cab

The Mitsubishi Triton GLX offers everything bakkie owners will ever need from a work or leisure vehicle, says the manufacturer.

Throughout the lifespan of the current Triton, Mitsubishi Motors South Africa (MMSA) has continued to offer models that cater for the needs of customers. This has resulted in a variety of locally developed special edition models, including the Triton Xtreme in 2020, and the launch of the Triton GL single and double cab derivatives and the Triton Heritage Edition in 2022. The Triton Xtreme was shown earlier this year at Nampo and just recently the Triton Athlete hit the road in South Africa.

Jeffrey Allison, general manager of marketing at MMSA, says: “The launch of the Triton GL double cab last year has been beneficial in allowing MMSA to offer our customers greater versatility in the commercial vehicle market and attract more of those customers to the Mitsubishi brand.”

For these customers, the level of specification included, along with modern styling and legendary Mitsubishi reliability at a more affordable price point, continue to represent a sweet spot in terms of value for money.
