Mumbai International Airport (MIAL) has launched the all-new, renovated General Aviation terminal facility, exclusively for private jets from November.

The city airport's revamped general aviation (GA) terminal in Kalina, which handles about 750 flights and 2,400 passengers per month, supports the movement and processing of those flying chartered flights, VVIP flights and private aircraft from Mumbai who don't use the city airport's terminal 1 or 2 as these are meant for scheduled airline flyers. The general aviation terminal sees a daily footfall of about 80 passengers and 25 flights. Between January and July, it handled over 6,000 passengers.
