Air India CEO and MD of Air India, Campbell Wilson, expressed optimism about the potential of the air cargo sector, citing the Indian government's ambitious plan to grow it to 10 million tonnes by 2030.

To capitalise on this potential, Air India's cargo division is implementing strategic measures to foster growth and enhance its market presence. Over the next five years, the airline's cargo capacity is set to surge by 300 per cent, reaching two million tonnes, providing India with increased connectivity to global export markets.
