Empowering India's Semiconductor Ecosystem: ¡VP Semi's Strategic Vision and Local Focus
Bisinfotech
|October 2024
iVP Semi is a fabless semiconductor startup dedicated to serving the Indian market with unparalleled focus and innovation.
-

With a strong system design competence, iVP Semi empowers Indian companies to compete both locally and globally. During an interaction with Vidushi, Raja Manickam, Founder & CEO, iVP Semi discussed how iVP Semi is driving India’s semiconductor revolution with locallytailored, energy-efficient solutions, aiming to build a robust ecosystem and position itself as a global leader in power semiconductors.
What motivated you to establish iVP Semi, and how do you envision this company addressing the challenges of scaling semiconductor products in India?
At iVP Semi, our goal is to develop semiconductor solutions that are truly tailored to the Indian market. Unlike the established players from the U.S., Europe, or Japan, we are embedding local cultural and market insights directly into our business model. India is a complex market with both challenges and opportunities, and we are focusing on creating solutions that are robust and cost-effective for this unique environment. However, our vision doesn’t stop here. We are also committed to addressing global issues like climate change, especially those impacting less affluent communities. We believe that by starting here, we can eventually scale our solutions globally.
How does iVP Semi plan to attract and create demand for product developers, solution architects, and other ecosystem partners to establish a local presence in India?
